Hello all and sorry again for such a long time in between posts.

Today I am going to look at something that I have been using a bit lately. I have been spending more time indoors lately and a lot less time than I would like playing golf. Busy times!

I thought since I haven't posted in a while I would make a short post to keep the ideas flowing!

This idea has actually been in the back of my mind for a while. Last week when I was waiting at the club house another golfer walked past with almost an entire zoo sticking out of his golf bag. Yes, he had a collection of animal themed golf club covers and they actually looked quite effective all together.

Golf towels

Hello again! I thought I would create another post today due to two reasons. One, because I had a great day at golf today (compared to my standards anyway). Two, because the gift I am thinking of was one of the factors that helped me with this excellent game.

Last night it was pouring and so, obviously, in the morning the grass is wet. This can affect your game quite significantly. Friction between the ball and club is different which affects your game and because the ball is wet it travels differently. However, if you have a golf towel in your bag you can dry the ball and club at the start of each hole!

Golf towels are excellent gifts because they are relative cheap and as described above, on wet days they are a crucial addition to your equipment. However, it is surprising how many golfers do not actually have a towel, especially ameture golfers! If they do already have one, a spare can be useful too! It gets better though, because golf towels can be personalised as well! Names, sporting team logos, colors. You name it, there will be the perfect towel for your special golfer!

I thought I'd start my first proper golf gift idea post with the gift I actually bought my friend. Something so important in the game of golf that you cant actually play it without them!

Golf balls, the little things that no golfer can have enough of... seriously. This is because they are always getting lost in the bushes after wayward drives or miss hits. The most annoying thing is to get into a game of golf and then find you are out of golf balls, trust me. To stop this from happening, golfers will always carry many spare balls and have a collection at home. This is why I beleive that golf balls make a perfect golf gift. In addition, they are very affordable with a pack of 24 golf balls ranging from about $5 for basic to about $30 for high quality balls.

Golf balls are a cheap gift which will be very much appreciated by any avid golfer.

Today I realised something.

I love my golf and I consider myself a golf nut. I play 2-3 times a week and I use many different types of golf equipment all the time. Therefore, when I went to pick a gift for a golfer friend it should have been an easy job, right? Well, wrong. I couldn't think what I could possibly get them and spent an hour aimlessly wandering around a pro-shop.

Picking a golfing related gift is such a hard experience, sometimes even for the pros (or in my case the people that think they are pros)! After my recent set back, I decided to do a bit of mind-mapping and research to find the perfect gift for my friend.
